Watershed Planning and Management: Application of Advanced Tools and Disaster Reduction Strategies
The event will be conducted as ‘Karyashala’, Accelerate Vigyan Scheme, SERB to support and motivate PG and Ph.D students. The focus of this high-end workshop is to provide a scientific knowledge on watershed development in the aspect of rainfall-runoff estimation using SWAT, Forestry/Agro-forestry/Horticulture role in integrated watershed development, Soil erosion models, Sedimentation analysis, Climate and Hydrological modelling, Application of advanced tools in watershed management and Disaster reduction strategies for drought, flood and landslide – mainly for mapping the disasters and technical perspective on early warning system, Water accounting and demand calculation in watersheds & Advanced statistical techniques using R-Programming
