Asymmetric synthesis of organic chemistry

My self Ashis Das student of Central University of South Bihar in M.Sc. (Chemistry). I was interested in chemistry and selected this subject as main paper in graduation. After that, our avidity increased for knowing and learning chemistry and also going for higher study. So, I was participated in CUCET ENTRANCE TEST and qualified. Thus, I got admission in CUSB for M.Sc in chemistry. Here, I know about many specific organic compounds and their synthesis and have also getting chance to operate advance and specific equipment which use in various method of organic synthesis in lab. study about many advanced topics in organic synthesis and Supramolecular chemistry. During our M.Sc course, I came to know about many advanced specific organic compounds properly supramolecular structures and synthesis process for them after that our eagerness increased to knowing about them which make very excite to me to get a hand on experience and to handle modern reagents, catalyst and different spectroscopic tools. When, I know about Supramolecular complexes then interest to wards improved inside me then after I always concern about those type of complexes because it is a very interesting topic. I try to find that how many types of molecules are self- assemble and form a large molecule and How can work in different sector as like Medicinal chemistry, Material chemistry, Bio-nanotechnology, Polymer science and also try to know about that, what can reason for formation of most stable compound without any type of real bond. Besides also, I want to be that, what types of conditions are favor for Self-assemble of small different molecules in this If, I get opportunity to work in summer fellowship, I would like to gain many ideas for self-assembling of small molecules having various uses in synthesis of many large chemical molecules as like copolymer-complex DNA structure and complex proteins-Peptides structure. If I get this opportunity, it would be very helpful to satisfy our avidity about above field and would also help me to make my long term career plan in research field because it is a very hot and searchable subject in modern time. the broad areas in which I would like to work on complex self- assembled structures of different micro molecules.

Extraction of pigments from flower waste : A green recycle approach

Flower has enormous uses for several purposes, and by next day all that flowers are thrown in waste. The waste could be utilized as fertilizer in farming, but it is not fruitful because of contamination issues of waste after some time. Since this flower waste has many important ingredients which can be extracted from waste flowers to use as many applications in daily life. Rose, Marigold are commonly used flower and their colour is because of the pigment present in it. These pigments are degrading with time. However, if this waste is to be treated within such time with certain extraction methods then this pigment and other useful ingredients could be extracted from waste. Here one can use the treated waste as fertilizer with no contamination issue. The extracted ingredients mainly consists natural pigments, alkaloids, fluorescent materials and many more. These extracted pigments are used for making semi-synthetic dyes, in food colours and as indicator in laboratories (for pH detection). Using this green recycle approach, we can serve the society in several ways.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE

About the Program Electric vehicles are the key factor for all the smart city projects. They are energy efficient and have lower environmental impact. Automobile companies have pledged to switch to electric vehicles, "A cleaner, and sustainable alternative". We are heading towards an electric vehicle revolution. It has become a challenging task due to shortage of skilled engineers required for the transition from internal combustion Engines to Electric Vehicle. To fill this gap an intensive one-week training programme is being organized for faculty of engineering and technological institutes. Participants are invited from industries and research scholars of relevance. The objective of the STTP is to provide an exposure to the participants in the recent trends in "Electric Vehicle" through interaction with experts. The technical program will include state- of-art lectures, discussion/presentation sessions, hands on training and field visits. Topics to be covered ? EV history, architecture and battery technology ? EV infrastructure, charging and control system ? Design and simulation of EV employing PMDC motor ? Development of charger for EV charging ? Framework for electric and hybrid vehicle ? Architecture of hybrid and electric vehicle for optimal ? PFC rectifier application ? DC-DC converter technology ? EV integration to Grid ? Vehicle to Grid (V2G) and Grid to Vehicle (G2V) ? EV history and well to wheel analysis ? Inverter schemes for EV drives applications ? Motor and their suitability ? EV control systems ? Hands on Training
