HYPERSPECTRAL SENSING FOR AGRICULTURE AND WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
About my Workshop
The training intends to equip the participants (PG or PhD scholars on with specialized
knowledge and skills on hyperspectral sensing as an advanced technology for comprehensive assessment of agriculture and water resources. The scholars will b given hands-on training on hyperspectral measurements using a spectroradiometer, and exposure to some relevant open-source tools for spectral data modelling (R programming) and mapping (061S) which enable them gaining proficiency, in processing, analyzing, and interpreting large and high-dimensional datasets. Moreover, it is anticipated that the participants gain the ability to interact with experts from diverse backgrounds which fosters innovaton and empower their skills to address complex challenges related to agriculture and water resouroes management.
Eligibility
Applicants should be from any discipline of Agriculture/ Agricultural Engineering" Water Resources Engineering/ Civil Engineefingi Remote Sensing and GI S/ Environmental Sciences or allied sciences and engineering currently pursuing PG /PhD programs. Recently compleled PG scholars are also eligible.
